15 weeks

Whoops, it's been a little while since I last blogged! I really thought I was going to be better about it! We all are doing pretty well here in the Mitchell household. I have enjoyed the months I've spent at home now and totally cannot believe how fast it's gone by. Liam is doing pretty well for the most part. We've had a challening few months with him as far as feeding goes. I was nursing him to begin with, but he really seemed to be bothered by it after he was done, so I tried him on some formulas and I didn't quite think that was doing the job either. His pediatrician recommended soy formula, so we have been doing that and I definitely see an improvement. It's been about three days since he's been strictly soy and they said to give it a week. I cannot wait for the spitting up to vanish though! That's probably the most challenging part. I am amazed at the amounts he lets up and still gains weight. Or at least I hope he is still gaining. It's been a few weeks since he's been weighed! It's amazing how much money can be spent on trying to find the right fit for your child when it comes to this, between formulas and bottles! Kallie continues to grow like a weed and is such a girl. She has become very worried about her shoes and what pair to wear. Yikes! Did I instill that in her?? Sorry Kallie! We have been working on writing her name and we're getting close. Hopefully we can get it be the end of the summer. She can get the 2 l's, the a, and the i, but the other two are a challenge!

We looking forward to a vacation we'll be having in a couple of weeks at the Wisconsin Dells. We are staying at a resort there through our vacation club and have invited my family along for the week. My parents and younger brother and his family will be joining us. Unfortunately the time did not work for my two older siblings. Hopefully next time!

Fun at the Children's Museum

Greetings! Time for an update! We had a visitor last weekend when my friend Rebecca Chupa from college came to visit us. While she was here we headed over to the Children's Museum of Indianapolis. We enjoyed the time. Of course, I think Kallie enjoyed it most of all! Poor Rebecca pretty much had a shadow attached to her all weekend as Kallie enjoyed trailing behind her every day, all day. Thankfully Rebecca was a good sport about it! Rebecca enjoyed meeting Liam for the first time also. He continues to grow like a weed and is a little over 13 pounds now. He is starting to do lots of smiling and some babbling as well, which is my favorite! Well, that's about it from our end and I hope you're all doing well.
