A Good Time at the Zoo

Over Labor Day weekend we were able to spend a day out at the zoo. That was a fun time and I am posting some pics of our time there. Jim and I also celebrated our 5-yr. anniversary last Friday. We enjoyed a nice dinner out at a restaurant located on a marina. Didn't know those existed in IN! The weather was beautiful so we spent a little time watching the sailboats take off and enjoy the water. That was the first "real" date the two of us had been on in almost 3 years! I don't do a very good job of finding a babysitter for Kallie! Things are pretty good around here. I am approaching 18 weeks in my pregnancy. We will find out what we're having the first week of Oct. I'm actually looking forward to that. The first time around I didn't want to know! Kallie is growing up quickly. It's so fun to watch her play, as she has quite the imagination! Jim and I have just been busy with our work routines. I think I'm enjoying my job a little more than he is right now! The joys of being a manager! I hope you are all doing well. We love and miss you all!

Great pictures, Marla. Kallie is a sweetie and looks to be enjoying the zoo. I cannot wait until Drew is old enough to go to the zoo with Grandpa and Grandma. Love her with all you have, you two!!

Marla, take care and keep healthy during your pregnancy. Wow...another. Exciting! Love ya, Marla

Grandma Moore loved the pictures too. Kallie looks so old sitting up on that pony. I bet she did have a great time. It is wonderful you two take the time to do things like that with her. Love ya!

Thanks for the comments guys. We enjoy taking her to places like the zoo because she gets such a big kick out of everything. This last time I think was the funnest because she knows pretty much all the animals now and get ecstatic to see them all! We got memberships this year. I wish I would have taken her a couple more times this summer, but it was just too hot. Marla Sr., you will totaly enjoy it when he's old enough to understand all of it. It won't be long!!
