Just wanted to jot some quick notes about the kids...
Kallie:
- She has learned to write her name pretty well now...still working on the "e"!
- We can't believe how much she has grown. She will definitely be a taller one when she starts school in a couple years.
- She has done a pretty good job adjusting to adding Liam to the family. We do have to watch her every once and a while, though, as she likes to pick him up a lot!
- She loves to put on concerts and sing/dance for the fam!
- She is still really in to the Disney princesses.
- Other hobbies....learning her numbers and letters, playing board games, playing Littlest Pet Shop, Barbies, and My Little Ponies. She also enjoys coloring a lot as well.
- We are blessed to see how well she has started to retain the Bible stories she's been hearing...definitely gets that from her dad!
Liam:
- His biggest accomplishment has been his walking. He has almost got it down to a little job now! So cute!
- He has been drinking soy milk. The dr. recommended it at least until he's two. She says it's best for him since he was so sensitive as a baby. We have officially removed the reflux medicine too. He does a great job of drinking out of his sippy cups...no more bottles!
- His vocabulay isn't too great yet, but every once and a while we can pick words out! It will be fun to see how that develops!
- He has seven front teeth and is now cutting a molar. Hopefully the rest aren't far behind.
- He is quite funny...he basically sucks on his tongue for his soothing mechanism. He also puts his sleeve up to his nose. I wonder how long that will last.
- One of our favorite things in this house his hearing our sweet Liam's belly laugh. It sure can make a dark day turn bright! It is way too precious. I can only hope you all will be blessed to hear it some day!!
- He is a great eater. There isn't much that he will turn down. We don't serve him any dairy, so he's limited in that department. Amazingly, for all that he eats, he is a light boy, within the 15th percentile. On the other hand, he height is around 97 percent!
Just a little blurp on my kids for those who don't seem them often. I'll try and keep you posted with more info!
